Monitek uses 3 proprietary software systems developed in-house for the supply of our specialist technical services:

VCM-Auto (Q)
VCM-Auto is our Vibration Condition Monitoring software for both high rate variable speed machines and normal fixed speed machinery. VCM-Auto incorporates the monitoring principles of Monitek which have evolved over 15 years of development and commercial application.  It was developed in-house by Monitek because of the lack of generally available software for accurate “order” vibration analysis on variable speed machinery and also to allow Direct Analysis of vibration spectra. VCM-Auto connects to a number of data collection instruments, including our RADAR instrument for multi-channel analysis of variable speed machines and DI portable data collectors for fixed speed machines.

RADAR (Q)
Our RADAR software is used for the collection of multi-channel wideband vibration and tachometer time signal data from variable speed machinery (see also the RADAR instrument).  It connects to VCM-Auto for post-processing of ordered spectra and subsequent storage in the condition monitoring database.

Monitor (Q)
Monitor is an information management suite which:
1) Manages the scheduling of oil and vibration surveys,
2) Stores the diagnostic history information from both wear debris analysis and vibration analysis,
3) Produces customer friendly reports on machine condition, and
4) Performs other management and financial functions enabling Monitek to provide condition monitoring services timely, efficiently and accurately.
